Teacher Information and Lesson Plans

Thank you for volunteering to teach in the Church School. We use the curriculum from the Episcopal Chuch.

• Your lesson coincides with readings from the Church Service this Sunday.  It is from the Episcopal Church website.  You may wish to visit this site for additional resources:
• Please arrive in the children's chapel before 9:40 a.m. to greet your students.  Class begins at 9:45 a.m with a welcome message from Father Bill. 
• Your classroom has copies of The Lord's Prayer and The Nicene Creed.  This is a good way to start or end your class and it allows the children an opportunity to memorize the prayer.
• Classroom supplies like Bibles, paper, crayons, pens, glue, etc. will be provided.
• At approximately 10:40, please quietly bring your class over to the church.  We will wait in the narthex until the ushers indicate when the students can join their families for communion.
• After church, the students attend Coffee Hour with their parents.
• Please briefly return to your classroom to clean up for next Sunday’s class.  Turn off the lights and close the door.  Your participation is greatly appreciated!
