Blessing of the Animals

St. Bernard's and St. John on the Mountain's traditional Blessing of the Animals service took place on Sun. October 6. Pets were brought to the 11 am service at St. Bernard's where they were blessed in church. Pets also attended a brief outdoor blessing at St. John on the Mountain at 1:30 pm that same day. A number of pets including dogs, cats, and even a couple of snakes attended. See photos below.
